Re: Call for comments on open questions about the audience for the DWBP doc

I like it too!

although I'm a little bit confused about this line between the ~data
consumer~ and the developer. If the difference is

the data consumer reads data
the developer manipulate it and/or reuse (or just archive it)

I would like to ask the group opinion on the understanding that the user
that wants to consume data by reading it - or interacting with it, in
the case of DataVis, and some user interfaces like dashboards isn't
exactly consuming data but consuming information.

I may be being over-zealousness, but WCAG, usability, and criteria like
human interface design are more related to information consuming and not
to data consuming...

In other environments, the term “re-user” is often used, to distinguish the end-user who just looks at the data from the intermediary who takes data from the publisher and delivers it in some value-added form to the end user.

Otherwise we would also need to talk about good user interface design, WCAG etc. However, as I said before, I don’t think we should try to write best practice for re-users – they will benefit from the good practice applied by data publishers.
