I vote -1 on any proposal to make any "default" in SHACL be other than a construct that has no consequences. So, -1 on a proposal that makes 1 be the default value for sh:minCardinality, -1 on a propoposal that makes 1 be the default value for sh:maxCardinality, etc. I vote +1 for the proposal in https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-data-shapes-wg/2015Sep/0162.html and any proposal in accordance with "I believe if something is left unspecified then it should count as unconstrained." in that message. peter
