I know you don't but I don't really see any consensus on the alternative, so I'm just leaving that alone for now since it's a tiny change and will have minimal impact on the implemention. Could you point to some examples of specs that clearly distinguish the two kinds of attributes? I'm new to this, so pointing to good examples would be very helpful.
