Hi all, the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF)'s Product Managers group has generously agreed to make time for general design Q&A on their upcoming weekly Wednesday meeting. There will also be a short overview of design approaches to decentralized identity, driven by general questions I will ask the very qualified experts there.

WHO: This is a great opportunity for any designers and product folks interested in learning more about the design aspects of decentralized identity. You will get an overview of what the different approaches are to designing user workflows for components such as issuers, wallets, and verifiers. You will also have an opportunity to ask your design questions to some of the most experienced designers in the world with respect to creating decentralized identity workflows and user experiences.

This event is especially germane to those interested in competing for a piece of the $25,000 purse prize for the U.S. DHS S&T Trusted User Interface (UI) for Digital Wallets Challenge (https://urldefense.us/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.dhs.gov_science-2Dand-2Dtechnology_prize-2Dcompetitions&d=DwIBAg&c=2plI3hXH8ww3j2g8pV19QHIf4SmK_I-Eol_p9P0CttE&r=FUgYmx6LTIaPqn7QR6TBfzml-fqCTpab-djgqlCFtgU&m=Ki5TxhZ6kPo0E5mR0I7zHZxePox4dOjf1bbxwQAI5eg&s=alQrXfLbfWPqP5aOn1s9Avy8w7UtG6kAvlh_--whuwI&e= ) concluding next month.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 30th at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/6 PM CET.

Hope to see you there! There will either be notes or a recording from this event, and we will update this thread with them as they become available.

FAVOR: Please forward this email to anyone with a design background or interest, who you think would like to learn about our ecosystem and the design problems we have here. This is how we grow our ecosystem with the addition of human-centric thinkers, and this is how we progress towards to user interfaces that people will want to use.

Best,
- Wayne
