I have published a v1.0 of my attempt at a map of the major specification documents related to verifiable credentials especially those centered around this group but also including a few DIF documents, and MATTR documents. The intent is to help a newcomer with understanding some of the specification landscape. (Plus to let me acquire the same knowledge by creating the map). It will not likely be of great value to many on this list currently as you are already much more familiar. But for a newcomer this may prove valuable. There are some intentional omissions in this version around areas of SIOP, storage, universal wallet and numerous other documents. This version was considered, by me, the minimum mapping to be done. If someone walks this tree of specifications they will then likely be in a good position to understand everything that lies outside of it. That said, please let me know via an issue in the repo or an email of significant errors and omissions. Or if this has a gross conceptual error please raise that so that I can remove it all together. The diagram is done in diagram.net/draw.io thus free to view and edit and is open source. https://github.com/jgraph/drawio. If you go to https://draw.io you can then open the diagram source file. The release also includes a png output of the diagram. Below is the diagram release link: https://github.com/manicprogrammer/vc-spec-rel/releases --- On a side note the following is also an excellent resource with some similar information that if you find value in this document will certainly find value in Nader Helmy's document: https://medium.com/decentralized-identity/overview-of-decentralized-identity-standards-f82efd9ab6c7 Michael Ruminer michael.ruminer@gmail.com
