Thanks for sharing Heather. I did not hear about DigiLife. From their about page - this is "a co-operative of people that support technologies that prioritize our autonomy, privacy and dignity" - right in line with The United Humans values. I will share UH pitch deck with them. Thank you! -Bohdan ---- On Wed, 19 Dec 2018 19:02:21 +0200 Heather Vescent <heathervescent@gmail.com> wrote ---- > Hello Bohdan, > Have you heard of the DigiLife Collective? Funding new initiatives that aim to achieve similar goals or solve similar problems is an uphill battle. I’ve got $10M backed for a data sovereignty education prize but finding people to collaborate with effectively was far easier when I decided to join and collaborate and not crusade a new foundation. I only say this because finding money was super easy. Finding smart people that care about the problem space and have the headspace and capacity to fix it isn’t something money solves. In fact it attracted a ton of assholes to me and I told the family that put up the money that the initiative would wait until a more I could find established community of peers. > > > > +100 > > > > -- > > Heather Vescent > > President, The Purple Tornado, Inc > > Author, A Comprehensive Guide to Self Sovereign Identity > > Author, The Cyber Attack Survival Manual > > @heathervescent | Film Futures | Medium | LinkedIn | Future of Security Updates > > > > >
