Thank you very much for your clarification. Do you mean that it doesn't matter whether the video player itself meets SC or not. For example, even if it is not keyboard operable or the play/stop/rewind/fast-forward/volume control button images don't have alt text at all, the author can say that "This page does not conform, but would conform to WCAG 2.0 at level A if the video player from uncontrolled source was removed."
