Hi folks (Sorry for the delay, I have been ill recently). A draft charter for a W3C Working Group to maintain the PNG specification is now available for informal review. It has not yet been announced to the Advisory Committee. https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/png-2021.html There are still plenty of "todo" areas, styled pale yellow, but the general scope and so on is in reasonable shape. The aim is to include the earlier specification maintainers who are still interested, while adding in new blood and ensuring wide adoption of the updated specification. I'm taking advice on how to deal with the wording on Adopted and Exclusion Drafts (see https://www.w3.org/2020/Process-20200915/#exclusion-draft ) The general structure follows the W3C Working and Interest Group charter template. https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/charter-template.html -- Chris Lilley @svgeesus Technical Director @ W3C W3C Strategy Team, Core Web Design W3C Architecture & Technology Team, Core Web & Media
