Hello COGA Community Group! We have now had four meetings, so I wanted to send this email to update the group and ask a few questions. *Observations from the meetings:* 1. We are still just starting out, so it may take us a couple more meetings to really find a flow. 2. Having two different meetings splits the group up too much and is making it more difficult to connect on goals. 3. Many other notes can be found in our COGA Community Meeting Notes <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VsHS-oQDR7XY87E91sd-zqYaq8DCH9Ppwf9YeqCNcks/edit#> document. *Questions for the group:* 1. I'd like to propose that we remove one of the two groups. - Instead of trying to have two separate meetings every two weeks, we can have *one meeting every two weeks.* - These meeting times would alternate so that both Group A and Group B time zones are accommodated at least once a month. - How do you feel about this approach? 2. Who would be interested in taking a leadership role in the group? This could be as a Chair or simply to help make sure minutes and reminders go out to the group and conversations are facilitated between meetings. - A couple of you have volunteered some time already (thank you) - Please let me know (privately) what time zone you are in, and what kind of a role you would like to have. 3. Would anyone like to volunteer to spend 15 or so minutes talking about your specific area of expertise or personal experience at the next meeting? Or a future meeting if not the next one. *What is next:* 1. If there is general agreement to merge the meetings into one, then I'll send out new meeting times early next week. 2. Please think about experiences you would like to share with the group at the next meeting. 3. If you have the time, please take a look at Making Content Usable. Your thoughts would be fantastic. 4. The W3C COGA Task Force is currently doing a formal research lit review on mental health. If you would like to review papers, please let me know and I'll get you started. Looking forward to our next conversation! Warmly, Rain
