+1 to Jo's proposal except that I think that somehow the Pro Suite needs to incorporate or include the Basic Tests in some way, to give a single coherent document, as that is what people will want. No duplication or modification; perhaps just put a link to the Basic test where there is one. In the Pro tests document we can put in where appropriate, "Must pass [basic test X] otherwise fail". regards, Alan On 12/02/2008, Jo Rabin <jrabin@mtld.mobi> wrote: > > Thanks Kai. > > I have one suggestion, which is to clarify that the testing involved is > limited to black box testing - per the thread at [1]. > > Hence my suggestion would be: > > * The scope of mobileOK Pro Tests is all tests not covered by mobileOK > Basic Tests > > Changes to > > * The scope of mobileOK Pro Tests is all tests not covered by mobileOK > Basic Tests that are amenable to black box testing. > > Regds > Jo > > [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-bpwg/2008Feb/0015.html > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: public-bpwg-request@w3.org [mailto:public-bpwg-request@w3.org] > On > > Behalf Of Scheppe, Kai-Dietrich > > Sent: 12 February 2008 11:59 > > To: public-bpwg@w3.org > > Subject: FW: ACTION-639: Create a more elaborate charter with times, > > deliverables > > > > > > Forwarded to public list... > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: member-bpwg-request@w3.org > > > [mailto:member-bpwg-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Scheppe, > Kai-Dietrich > > > Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2008 12:51 PM > > > To: Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group WG > > > Subject: ACTION-639: Create a more elaborate charter with > > > times, deliverables > > > > > > > > > Hello, > > > I was actioned to elaborate on the mobileOK Pro Task Force Charter. > > > > > > This takes care of several actions (can I do this for tracking > > > purposes?): > > > > > > ACTION-639: Create a more elaborate charter with times, deliverables > > > ACTION-612: Write a charter for mobileOK Pro TF by January > > > ACTION-636: Put together a reasonble time table for > > > completion of mobileOK Pro by the end of BPWG > > > ACTION-648: Update the charter document based on output of F2F > > > > > > And it closes > > > > > > ISSUE-185: What are the mobileOK Full deliverables? > > > > > > > > > > > > Following you will find the ammended charter. > > > > > > Please comment > > > > > > Kai > > > > > > > > > > > > Charter for the mobileOK Pro Task Force > > > > > > - Timeline of the Task Force: > > > * Charter will be delivered by 21-02-08 > > > * First draft of reworked tests will be delivered by 21-02-08 > > > * LC by 08-05-08 > > > * LC comments addressed in June > > > * CR by end of June > > > > > > > > > - Scope of the Task Force's work: > > > * The scope of mobileOK Pro Tests is all tests not covered > > > by mobileOK Basic Tests > > > * Testing is to be done against the default delivery context (DDC) > > > * An emulator will be created with code provided by Jo and > > > modified by Segala > > > > > > - Deliverables of the Task Force: > > > * mobileOK Pro Tests Dokument > > > * a modified version of a DDC emulator > > > > > > - The mobileOK Pro TF will > > > * be governed by the agreements set forth in the BPWG > > > regarding Task Forces found at > > > http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/BPWG/Group/TaskForces/ > > > <http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/BPWG/Group/TaskForces/> > > > * provide a test format that minimizes the variance of > > > results produced through subjective tests > > > * reexamine mobileOK Basic tests for necessary changes and > > > provide those changes for the work group > > > * identify requirements which may need cooperation with > > > other working groups > > > > > > > > > > > > > -- Alan Chuter, Senior Web Accessibility Consultant, Technosite (www.technosite.es) Researcher, Inredis Project (www.inredis.es/) Email: achuter@technosite.es Alternative email: achuter.technosite@yahoo.com Blogs: www.blogger.com/profile/09119760634682340619
