Re: The Final Word On HTML (fwd)

Once upon a time Carl Morris shaped the electrons to say...
>To suggest is what is in err, that makes HTML a rendering language ...
>and a language it is, it can be considered a form of programming
>glue...

HTML is not a programming language. Lookup the definition of a programming
language and the definition of a markup language. HTML does not do anything
programatically. That is like calling the ':'s in the /etc/passwd file
programming because the are used to mark field divisions by the programs
that parse them.

>ha ha ha ha, you can't get HTML to do it, you really think adding an
>additional layer makes things any better... either HTML is, or it

HTML IS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO IT!

How thick is your skull? How many times does someone need to say this?

You *admit* to not knowing the history nor the purpose of HTML, so why
don't you stop making moronic, misinformed comments about it. If you
don't know the history of HTML why do you insist on making these comments?
