Constraint types.

I would like to know, if there is another level of constraint mechanism
in XMLschema that doesn't produce an error when a processor find it
broken. For example, let's say I define an element that may have only
one or the other of attributes (without the attribute number of the
element being two). What I want in a few words, is not to report the
file as not valid but the parser to report the constraint break.

Is this functionality possible?
