We are developing software to compare schemas and represent any differences in an XML file which has the same basic structure as an XML Schema file. The comparison is 'intelligent' in that it understands the basic structure of the XML Schema file as represented in the DTD, e.g. it takes account of 'keys' so it will detect when elements have been placed in a different order and ignore this. Written in Java and runs on PC and Unix. If anyone using XML Schema would be interested in beta testing this, please contact me on robin@monsell.co.uk.
