I just visited the following site http://cgi.w3.org/cgi-bin/xmlschema-check to validate some schemas I created. This site says that the schema validator has been updated with a newer version and to start using the new one. (then there is a link to the new site) I have tried to check several schemas with the new tool and I keep getting the same error, consistently. Problems with the schema-validity of the target : : The schema(s) used for schema-validation had no no error s No schema-validity problems were 1 schema-validity problem was schema-validity problems were found in the target No declaration for document root found, validation was lax Validation was strict, starting with type Low-level XML well-formedness and/or validity processing output -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- import include Attempt to a schema document from for no namespace , succeeded skipped, already loaded skipped, other docs already loaded for this namespace: failed ::: Invalid per http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/# : ::: Warning: Even when my schemas do not have any include statements in them, I still get this error. I was able to validate the same schemas using the older version of this validator just 2 days ago. Is the new verion of the schema validator, in fact working? If anyone has experienced similar problems or could help me get the new W3C validator working, I would appreciate it. Thank you. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
