Mark, You sent e-mail[1] to the XMLP comments list which resulted in Rec Issue 31[2] being entered into the issues list. The XMLP WG has considered your comments and concluded that it is not appropriate to address this comment in a Proposed Edited Recommendation or Second Edition of SOAP 1.2. It is also not clear that the XMLP WG is the most appropriate place to deal with this issue, which, as you allude to, is not unique to SOAP. Thus the XMLP WG is not going to take any action regarding this issue. If this resolution is NOT acceptable to you, please let the Working Group know.
