David, You raised issue 404[1] against the CR of SOAP 1.2. The XML Protocol working group discussed this issue today and closed the issue with the following resolution: (i) The current SOAP encoding schema is correct but the comments half way through could be misleading. (ii) The schema document will be re-arranged to group the commented element declarations at the end of the document and the comments will be reworded for clarity. We hope this satisfies your concern, if not please respond to this message CCing xmlp-comments@w3.org. regards, Marc (on behalf of the XMLP Protocol working group) [1] http://www.w3.org/2000/xp/Group/xmlp-cr-issues.html#x404 -- Marc Hadley <marc.hadley@sun.com> Web Technologies and Standards, Sun Microsystems.
