After browsing through some of the archives and getting up to speed
it has become painfully obvious that a lof of people are making
statements about URIs/URLs/URNs/etc  without having read the 
documents which authoritatively define them. _Please_ read
RFC 2141 and RFC 2396 if you haven't already done so...
