Response to comment on Namespaces in XML 1.1

on the CR draft of Namespaces in XML 1.1.  If you sent more than one

Re: Processor conformance

We do not believe that there is enough that can be checked about an IRI
reference to make it worth the overhead.  We note that XML Schemas does
not require any checking of its anyURI type.
