Re: issue with IRI equality While we understand that it may be confusing to users that differently escaped (but otherwise equivalent) IRIs are not considered the same namespace name, it was previously decided (and is existing practice) that namespace names are compared character-for-character, and it would be too drastic (and controversial) a change to do now.
