In its message at [1], Jonathan Scott, raises a problem about our usage of cid: URLs in our examples. Issue summary ------------- As defined per RFC 2392 (and indirectly RFC 822), URI using the "cid:" scheme must be an e-mail address, i.e. in the form local-part@domain. Moreover the href attribute on xop:include is defined as containing a URI using the "cid:" scheme. However, we have several examples for which the Content-ID and corresponding href attributes use an HTTP URI instead of an e-mail address. Proposed steps -------------- I therefore think that we must accept this issue. As a resolution, I propose to change the incorrect examples to use e-mail addresses instead of HTTP URIs. Only the XOP spec need to be modified. I checked the MTOM and RRSHB specs and they are not affected by the issue. Hervé. [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/xmlp-comments/2006Jan/0000.html
