The TBTF decided at its call this morning to drop further work on the so-called "wire trace variant" proposal [1] which was put forward for consideration within the TBTF as a replacement for the existing state transition diagrams and associated tables in Part 2. The TBTF felt that while the proposal had merit, we are at a point in our schedule when it would require too much time to recast and debug all the existing information into the new format. If anyone thinks this decision requires further discussion, they should bring it up on this list, and WG members should bring it up on this week's telcon.
