emails from the outage

Due to a recent power outage at MIT, this list (and other W3C lists) were
inoperable for a few days although any messages sent to the lists during
the outage should appear in the list archive. During the outage, members of
the XML Protocol Working Group continued email discussion by sending email
directly to each other. Now that the power and the lists have been
restored, I am asking working group members to resend their 'direct' emails
to the list so that the messages are archived, and so that the larger
community can see the content of the discussion. (These postings probably
will not surface on the list in their original order.)
