Congratulations on moving to PR! As I am sure you are all aware the MSL proposes a fragment id syntax to identify XML Schema types. This would serve as a syntax mapping type QNames onto URI references. XPointer provides for xpointer scheme extensions (beyond xmlns and xpointer) for media-types _other than application/xml and text/xml_ The current PR suggests use of MIME types application/xml or text/xml A two part suggestion: 1) Register an XML Schema MIME type, e.g. application/schema+xml 2) Define an xpointer scheme "type" using a suitable syntax to serve as a defined extension for the XML Schema MIME type Jonathan Borden The Open Healthcare Group http://www.openhealth.org
