Hey folks, We at Mindswap are conducting an experiment on trust network inferences and recommender systems for Jen Golbeck's thesis and we need more participants! Since there has been some shared movie going and...er..."discussion" (Underworld sucks!!!) about film, I though y'all would make an interesting addition to the network. If you'd like to help out, please go to: http://trust.mindswap.org/FilmTrust and 1) Sign up, it'll only take a few minutes 2) Rate a few movies -- we're connected to IMDB, so you can rate just about anything 3) Review a movie or two and most importantly 4) add a friend to your friend's list; you can search for people, or you could convince people to join! By "friend" all we mean is that you have a pretty good sense how likely this person would be to give you movie recommendations that would work *for you*. So if you think someone has *GREAT* taste in movies, rate 'em high! If you can't stand that trash they love, rate them low. If you hate Underworld and the last three Matrix movies, rate me high! :) We really appreciate your consideration. Cheers, Bijan.
