Okay, d'acord, rpc/literal makes sense. Also, the answer to the main question behind this issue formulation, does use="literal" encodingStyle="someURI" make sense, seems to to be yes. (If use is literal, encodingStyle may be used to apply additional format constraints.) In the light of this the issue is a non-issue.
