XMLP Response to one of our comments on SOAP 1.2 draft: -----Original Message----- From: Nilo Mitra (EUS) [mailto:Nilo.Mitra@am1.ericsson.se] Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 11:34 AM To: 'xmlp-comments@w3.org' Cc: 'Mike.Champion@SoftwareAG-USA.com' Subject: SOAP Primer LC Issue 345 Mike: You raised the following issue [1] against SOAP Part 0: Primer [0]: # 2.2.1. Document-style message exchange. Example 2. # Shouldn't the returned <p:airportChoices> element contain an enumeration? The schema document (not shown in the Primer, but implied and tangentially mentioned in the text following example 2), of which example 2 is an instance, would show that the element "airportChoices" is a list type (xsd:list). Hence the instance document - example 2 - lists the airport choices. So no changes are necessary to example 2. I hope this answer is satisfactory, Nilo Mitra Editor, SOAP Primer [o] http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part0/ <http://www.w3.org/TR/soap12-part0/> [1] http://www.w3.org/2000/xp/Group/xmlp-lc-issues.html#x345 <http://www.w3.org/2000/xp/Group/xmlp-lc-issues.html#x345>
