Subject: Request for a complimentary XML Spy 4.0 Suite license for the
Web Services Architecture Working Group editors
Alexander,
My name is Hugo Haas and I am the W3C Team contact for the Web Services
Architecture Working Group[2].
The editors of the Web Services Architecture Working Group expressed a
strong interest in using XML Spy as a common editing tool for the
documents produced by the Web Services Architecture Working Group.
Daniel Austin pointed me to an email you sent[1] to the HTML Working
Group in which you were offering a complimentary XML Spy 4.0 Suite
license to "members of the W3C Working Groups involved with XML or XML
Schema work".
I do not think that our Working Group falls under that exact scope. I
would therefore like to know if it would be possible to extend this
complimentary license to our editorial team (currently 3 people) for
their W3C work.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Hugo
