Introduction

Hi,

My name is Steve Vinoski, and I will be IONA's primary representative to
the Web Services Architecture WG.

I am IONA's Chief Architect and Vice President of Platform Technologies.
I've been working in distributed systems since the late 1980s, and spent
much of the 90s focused on CORBA and working in the OMG. I've published
around 35 papers on distributed systems over the years, and co-authored
a popular book on CORBA published in 1999. Over the past couple years
I've been focused in part on helping to ensure that IONA's products and
product strategies properly address the world of Web Services.

I look forward to working with rest of the WG.
