re "One example of an ontology based portal is OntoWeb." http://km.aifb.uni-karlsruhe.de/owl/#usecase-portal Please add the Open Directory Project (aka DMOZ) as another example. Suggested wording: Another example of a portal that uses semantic web technologies and could benefit from an ontology language is _The Open Directory Project_; it is a large, comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors. RDF dumps of the Open Directory database are available for download. This text comes from our description of DMOZ in a list of selected RDF projects; I'd suggest looking there for details, links, etc. that you might want to use. http://www.w3.org/RDF/#projects -- Dan Connolly, W3C http://www.w3.org/People/Connolly/
