Introduction: Martin Pike

I am Head of Professional Services and a founder of the Stilo group of
companies. Stilo specialises in consultancy and development of software in
the XML arena.
I have been working with structured markup for about a decade now and have
been investigating and consulting on the management of vocabularies in large
organisations as a means of capturing corporate knowledge via the control of
document structure for a number of years.
More recently we have been developing systems to support reliable
transformations of structured data through the use of business information
captured in ontologies.
I was a member of the W3C XML Special Interest Group.
