RE: Default value for recordutterance property

"To enable recording during recognition, set the value of the
recordutterance property to true."
 
The behavior is disabled by default.
 
The working group will consider stating the default explicitly in the
text.

What is the default value of the new property "recordutterance" defined
by VoixeXML 2.1.
 
>From the spec, we understand that this can be set to true/false to
enable/disable recording user utterances respectively. Is the default
value platform-dependent?
