Issue R103-19 Proposed Classification: Clarification / Typo / Editorial Resolution: Defer We imagine that a future version of PLS will be multilingual. However, for the first version, we'd prefer to defer this request. We believe that an implementation of a monolingual lexicon is simpler and perhaps more efficient. SSML and SRGS both support multiple lexicons for defining pronunciations for multiple languages. Para 5 in section 4.1 of PLS 1.0 LCWD [1] already says this. If you feel this is not clear, please suggest alternative wording. Please indicate whether you are satisfied with the VBWG's resolution, whether you think there has been a misunderstanding, or whether you wish to register an objection.
