We process material from various input formats, and use (today) SAPI 4 and 5 as a means of accessing a tts engine. Excuse my ignorance, but has any thought been given to the utilisation of SSML over such an interface please? ~E.g. Still use sapi, or similar, but the data passed is either an XML document or part document marked up in SSML? The second would be needed when, for instance the source document could produce very many hours of output, e.g. the Bible. I'd need to split the source document and feed it through in appropriate sized chunks. Any information appreciated.
