Gday
I have some suggested improvements.
Upon completion of an HTML4.01 validation, I was
forwarded to
http://validator.w3.org/check
On that page, the following is provided for us to put
on webpages which passed the validation:
<p>
<a href="http://validator.w3.org/check/referer"><img
border="0"
src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-html401"
alt="Valid HTML 4.01!" height="31"
width="88"></a>
</p>
Upon using the link provided, one gets a w3.org page
which states
"Sorry, this type of URI scheme (undefined) is not
supported by this service. Please check that you
entered the URI correctly."
Also, the icon at
src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-html401"
has white as part of the background of the tick mark
outside the box. This shows up when the background is
a colour other than white. See examble at
bushdance.org
The HTML 4.0 icon did not have this flaw.
Regards
Andrew
