Translation of the validator's documentation

Greetings.

There was a discussion yesterday on the #validator IRC channel (on
irc.freenode.net, where everyone is welcome to have a chat with other
contributors to the validator) about whether the translation of the
validator (the software) would be welcome.

Unfortunately, this would be a bit premature as the templating code
which would provide a good framework for the localization of the
validator is still under development, and, to be honest, will remain
dormant until we're done working on more urgent issues.

However, translation of the documentation is very welcome.
The documentation in CVS at
<http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/validator/htdocs/docs/> should be quite
stable, and it should be easy to add translations as
language-negotiated resources on the validator's Web site.

Contributors wishing to submit a translation of part or all of the
validator's documentation can do so by sending a message to the
validator's list (www-validator@w3.org) with the W3C translators list
(w3c-translators@w3.org) in copy, with either a URL for the translated
document or the translation attached (the former is preferred).

Recommended reading (not exactly applicable since we're not talking
about W3C specifications, but interesting nonetheless):
