Validation Graphic's <A> tag

I just validated my main page and inserted the graphic and code. However, when
I click the graphic, I get http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=, which is not an
effective entry to the W3C site in that it tells the visitor that something
was done incorrectly when in fact nothing was done incorrectly.

It seems to me that this part of the code should be changed. I'm taking out
"/check?uri=".

There seemed to be no other place than this to send this suggestion, so that's
why I'm posting this message.
