Yuri Rubinsky Died

Many attached to this listserv may already know, but the acknowledgement bears
mentioning. 

Yuri Rubinksy, President of SoftQuad, Inc., and technical chair of the
International Committee for Accessible Document Design (ICADD) and numerous
other consortia passed away on Jan. 21.

Yuri was instrumental in helping ICADD implement the HTML code that helps
people who are blind and visually impaired access WWW content. The night that
he died, he and I were talking via the net about building special accessibility
features into the Panorama browser. That's the kind of person he was.
