>In any case, URNs are an issue of discussion within the IETF's URI group, and not much more than vaporware right now. There isn't any URI group anymore; it got nuked. Separate URN and URC groups may be formed in the future. URNs are actually happening, but within local systems that implementors can fit out with experimental resolution services.
