I shudder to suggest it, but it does work - try dynamically generating text in a GIF. P.S. For an amusing Netscape bug. Try using client-pull with an inline image. Someone made the "time to pull a new document" flag global to the page instead of per-image. So the first image comes up fine, the second image replaces your page.
