TAG members are going to spend most of their week traveling and attending
the F2F, and should be spending their time this week doing serious
preparation. The tradition is therefore that we almost always cancel calls
just before the F2F, unless there are specific problems settling the
agenda. You should know that we sometimes but not always cancel the call
after a F2F, for the same reason (I usual ask for preferences during the
meeting). Yes, TAG members commit in principle 25% of their time to the
TAG, but not 90%, and the F2F meetings are a big commitment. Also, I did
announce on the call last week that this one would likely be cancelled
unless we got requests to the contrary, and I don't think I got any. I
hope that makes sense.
