Henri, HTMLwg co-chairs and TAG and the editor (Eliot), Let me state that I *can* live with Henri's proposed addition to Polyglot Markup. I do agree that Polyglot Markup is not the only method for working with HTML in a XML tool chain, and I now agree that it is fair and potentially clarifying that it mentions that. In fact, (depending on your glasses) there is already a brief mention of this in the introduction. Henri's proposed text could probably be worked into the existing wording there. I take back that specific rewording proposal(s) I made in the bug. If Eliot and Henri feel they can incorporate some of my perspective, then that's great, but I feel confident that whatever Henri proposes will be good enough. And in general, I regret that I did not more eagerly accepted Henri's attempt to create agreement. Thanks for an interesting debate. I hope the participants also felt that came some good things out it.
