OK, good suggestion. We obviously need to establish a bit of agreement among members of the newly constituted TAG as to how we want to do these things, but this suggestion makes a lot of sense to me. I personally don't care of the TAG stores a copy of their minutes in "date space". But I do want to encourage you to continue sending at least a text version of the final minutes to www-tag@w3.org so that the "contents" of the minutes are easily searchable via the W3C email archive search tools [1] AND in recipients individual email archives on their personal machines. /paulc [1] http://www.w3.org/Search/Mail/Public/ Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329 -----Original Message----- From: www-tag-request@w3.org [mailto:www-tag-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of noah_mendelsohn@us.ibm.com Sent: Monday, February 02, 2009 2:12 PM To: Henry S. My preference is date space (Dan, we can discuss), but in particular >if< minutes are in date space I'd like to suggest we do it consistently, and I suggest http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/yyyy/mm/dd-minutes. Accordingly, I've taken the liberty of copying your draft to [1], and I expect that we will update (if necessary) and vote on approving that copy on our telcon of 5 February. Having these in a consistent place and with consistent naming will be helpful to me, and if any of you have problems with checkin I will be glad to help you do it, or better yet, to help you get the access you need. As I say, having done some work to come up to speed and organize things for chairing, this convention will work best for me, but if it's worth discussing we can. Thank you.
