Summary of TAG activity from 11 Feb to 12 Mar 2003

Dear www-tag,

This is a summary of the TAG's activity from 11 Feb 2003 (end
date of the previous summary [1]) to 12 Mar 2003.

The TAG had two teleconferences during this period. Summaries of
those meetings are linked from the TAG home page [2]. On 5 March,
the TAG also appeared on a panel at W3C's Technical Plenary Day
(minutes pending).

1) Issues. 

  Details about discussions and related actions are available in
  the meeting minutes linked from the TAG's home page. The TAG's

  The TAG accepted one new issue during this period:

    siteData-36 : Web site metadata improving on robots.txt,
    w3c/p3p and favicon etc.

2) Findings.

  The TAG accepted the following finding:

4) Technical Plenary

  All but one of the TAG participated in a panel at the W3C's
  Technical Plenary Day in Cambridge (agenda [3]), moderated by
  Steve Zilles.  TAG participants presented five topics and
  engaged in discussion:

   3. Chris Lilley    -- XML ID for Well-Formed Documents [6]
   4. Norm Walsh      -- XML Profiles [7]

5) Upcoming events.

   1. The TAG is still investigating whether it will meet 
      face-to-face in May.
