Hello SVG Community- Due to substantive changes to the specification since Last Call was announced, the SVG Working Group has returned the SVG 1.1 SE specification to a second Last Call to allow for review of the final stable state of the document. The spec is available at: http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/WD-SVG11-20110512/ The group welcomes comments on SVG 1.1 Second Edition; please preface the subject line with "[LC]" to make your comments easier to track. The expectation is that we will get few additional comments for this edition, and hope to address such comments in SVG 2 or in SVG 1.1 Third Edition. The main focus of changes in this second edition has been to reconcile the specification with the current state of existing real-world implementations and to improve interoperability through an increase in the test suite; given the current state of broad implementation as shown in the implementation report, the SVG WG plans to move from second Last Call to Proposed Recommendation without a protracted Candidate Recommendation phase. Regards- -Doug Schepers W3C Team Contact, on behalf of the SVG WG
