Re: SVG12: mTranslate definition vs multiply(T)

Bjoern,
This is the official response from the SVG WG to your Last Call comment at the following URL:
  http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2006Jan/0484.html

You comment about matrix APIs touched on the same point as one of Maciej's comment. The official WG response to Maciej was sent by Robin Berjon and can be found at:
  http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2006May/0037.html

Hi Maciej,
...
As explained in previous responses, it is highly unfortunate that
coordination with the JSR 226 EG failed to reconcile these, but the
SVG WG is committed to being compatible with JSR-226 and will
therefore not change the specification on this point.
---------------------

Thank you very much for your thorough review and excellent feedback. Please tell us within two weeks if you are not satisfied with this response.

Jon Ferraiolo

Dear Scalable Vector Graphics Working Group,

  http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-SVGMobile12-20051207/svgudom.html states
for the mTranslate method "This is equivalent to calling multiply(T),
where T is an SVGMatrix object represented by the following matrix:"
there is however no multiply(T) method or function defined in the draft.
Please remove this problem.

regards,
