Dear WG, Please bear with my ignorance, but my understanding was that the goal of the WG was to release specification which can be used to implement viewers. The idea is of course that these viewers, based on the specs, will behave in about the same view when given the same content. I know today of at least two viewers which implement SVG-T 1.2. When given the same content, they behave in the same way. We have already implemented several demos, with the help of the two great teams behind these viewers. My suspicion is that in an effort to release the "perfect specification", the Working Group will have to work another couple of years before everybody is satisfied in this process. The working group did an awesome job with the SVG-T 1.2 specs, and we have proof to backup this assertion. The first goal now is to release this spec officially and start using it!
