Hi folks, I have found language in the CSS2 spec (http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/syndata.html#color-units) about named color values (you know, our friends aqua, black, blue, fuchsia, gray, green etc.), but observe that the tools I'm testing apparently support a bigger set, the one that includes the more exotic gainsboro, lightpink and so forth. Forgive my ignorance, but does HTML4.0 or CSS define this larger set (and if so, where)? Having a complete list of this set with their numeric values would be ideal. Are they a requirement for SVG support? BTW, great work getting to PR! Gratefully, Wendell ====================================================================== Wendell Piez mailto:wapiez@mulberrytech.com Mulberry Technologies, Inc. http://www.mulberrytech.com 17 West Jefferson Street Direct Phone: 301/315-9635 Suite 207 Phone: 301/315-9631 Rockville, MD 20850 Fax: 301/315-8285 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mulberry Technologies: A Consultancy Specializing in SGML and XML ======================================================================
