W3C Editor and Working Team, In section 5.1.2 The 'svg' element http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/struct.html#SVGElement In the section called "Attribute definitions: the "width" and "height" attribute definitions it would be nice if a link to 7.2 The initial viewport. 7.2 states: http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/coords.html#ViewportSpace <snip> In some circumstances, SVG content will be embedded in or referenced by a containing document. This containing document might include attributes, properties and/or other parameters (explicit or implicit) which specify or provide hints about the dimensions of the viewport for the SVG content. SVG content itself optionally can provide information about the appropriate viewport region for the content via the width and height XML attributes on the outermost 'svg' element. </snip> It would make the specification more useful to developers, if the specification pointed out......(link or description) ......what 7.2 states. Look forward to the Rec :-) We all learn by sharing what we know Robert A.
