Instead, we ask people to open issues on the specification repository https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues On point #2, there is already an issue open discussing this possibility https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/2839 On point #1, you would need to be very clear and explicit on WHY you think it would be best for left and right margins to collapse. If it’s just a sense of consistency, then it is very unlikely to happen. You would need to demonstrate a very compelling author need that cannot currently be met for a big change like this to be considered. Currently, it works on top and bottom margins BUT; 1. It would be best if left and right margins can collapse.. 2.
