Dear CSS WG Chairs and Stakeholders, The CSS WG’s happiness came up during our WPT Task Force virtual-TPAC meeting yesterday. Your satisfaction was one of our top level 2020 goals. We had three CSS WG related priorities: 1) Be able to distinguish should from must 2) Manual test harness & result collection 3) Ability to group tests by spec? We think we accomplished the first priority by adding support for an optional file-flag <https://web-platform-tests.org/writing-tests/file-names.html?highlight=optional#test-features> and adding the assert_implements_optional <https://web-platform-tests.org/writing-tests/testharness-api.html#optional-features> method to testharness.js. We'd appreciate your assessment on this. Did this meet your needs? Any further feedback? We have not yet added support for manual testing and results collection, or to the ability to group tests by spec. Before we add these to our priority list for 2021, and seek resources to support them, we wanted to check in with you to make sure they are still a priority. Are they? Additionally, has anything else come up in 2020 that you'd like to see change in WPT? Do you have any other feedback or requests? Or any celebrations I can pass on to the WPT maintainers? Warmly, -- Boaz Sender He / Him UTC-7 *My normal emailing hours might not be yours. Don't feel obligated to respond if you receive this at an odd time.*
